Western Region Staff Spirituality Day
Temora will be hosting the Staff Spirituality Day for the Western Region on the first day of Term 3 (SDD Day) on July 20th. We are extremely fortunate to be joined by the very distinguished Father Richard Leonard on the topic of “Catholic Identity: How can Catholic Education form believers in a media saturated culture?”.
It will be the first time that we have hosted a group of staff whilst also presenting the presentation via Zoom to the majority of the 13 Western Region schools from the Canberra Goulburn Diocese. Whilst it has been a challenging task to arrange this presentation to comply with the covid-19 restrictions it is a day that the staff are definitely looking forward to.
Attendance at Mass - changes as of July 1st
From the 1st of July there will be an easing of restrictions for our Sacred Heart Parish, which will be able to hold up to 80 people (due to social distancing regulations) for Mass. If you or your family wish to attend Mass, you will be asked to sign the register at the back of the church as you enter. The sign-in sheet will be numbered 1 to 80 and will cut off there.
Sacraments for 2020
At this stage, the sacraments are still ‘indefinitely postponed’ and no further communication has come from the Catholic Education Office about any future plans for the year. As soon as any further information is received or any decisions are made about Sacraments, I will be sure to let you know.
