St Anne’s sent 2 teams, under 14’s and under 16’s, to the Katrins Fanning Cup Girls rugby league carnival in Cootamundra on Tuesday. In cold conditions both teams played great 9 a side footy with limited preparation. The under 16’s had 2 games going down to West Wyalong high and Sacred Heart Cootamundra. The under 14’s won through to the next level after winning 3 and their 4 games very convincingly before being beaten by Temora High 20-14. The under 14’s only had 9 players, so did very well. The under 14’s now play in the final on Wednesday 3rd July in Wagga. Congratulations to all of the girls who played, particularly the girls who are unfamiliar with league and thanks to Lou for driving the bus.
