Primary will be swimming for the remainder of the term or until the pool closes, except for Week 8, which will be the St Anne's cross country. For cross country, students will walk to Nixon Park after roll call and participate in their event: 8/9 years will run 2km, 10 year will run 2km, 11 and 12 years will run 3km. Each lap of the track around the league and AFL grounds is one kilometre. Students will be back at school by lunch and will make up the first 2 periods in sport time after recess.

The next level of cross country is at Boorowa on Tuesday 30th March.

Nominations for the AFL Paul Kelly Cup must be returned by tomorrow 5th March. At the moment we have enough for a boys team but only 7 girls have nominated. A travel note will be sent home soon.

Nominations for the Winter Trials which includes under 11's rugby league and under 12's rugby league and open primary netball must be in by 23rd March. Nomination forms are available from Mr Hughes. A reminder that players must be of a suitable standard to trial for these sports and parents are responsible for taking their child to trial. Please note that individual nominations are accepted despite what the netball note says.
