As part of their studies in French, Yr 7 students held an informal fashion show - with commentary in French. Students began by brainstorming ideas about what kind of clothing and accessories they would bring from home to model in front of the class. They familiarized themselves with the language of fashion writers and reviewed fashion shows to showcase their event. They researched the vocabulary (colour, texture, design, etc.) and wrote a descriptive commentary of their outfit, which was read by another classmate as the student walked the runway. The fashion event ended with them showing their style and grace to Madonna’s Vogue.
