In Year 1 Health, we have been learning about the different types of pollution and how these negatively affect our body and our environment. We made different posters to encourage others to stop polluting our environment. 

In Maths we have been classifying 3D shapes, focussing on our quick subtraction skills and how they are related to addition and learning how to use a 30cm ruler and 1m ruler. We even made bridges that 1m high or 1m wide. 

We are getting towards the end of the year and InitiaLit is starting to wrap up. Last week we had an InitiaLit Olympics to test the skills we have gained from over the year. Each team scored incredibly! Miss Ryan was very impressed!
