Yr 4 News

Year 4 has been writing persuasive texts. Here are some examples of their writing. See if they manage to persuade you!!!!

Minecraft is better than Roblox

I strongly agree that Minecraft is waaaaaaaaaay better than Roblox. Some reasons are: on Minecraft you can make traps to troll your friends, there's no red stone on roblox to make redstone circuits and there’s COMMAND BLOCKS in Minecraft.

In Minecraft you can make annoying traps. For example the end portal trap or the TNT pressure plate trap. You can lure people into your trap with diamonds and blow up the guy you were trying to lure in.

Redstone on minecraft is used in minecraft to power everything piston powered, without it minecraft would fall apart (and it’s really fun to play around with).

Command blocks are used in Minecraft for many things but mostly things like: traps, torture devices and to summon mobs like the Ender dragon. Command blocks are super fun.

So I strongly agree that MINECRAFT is waaaaaay better than Roblox.!!!!!

Children should choose their own bedtimes

I agree that children should choose their own bedtimes. These are the reasons why:

You can stay up and watch tv, you can help mum and dad and you can get bored in bed.

Firstly, you can stay up and watch tv. There is more interesting stuff to watch.

There’s nothing to watch in bed. On a weekend you can watch a full movie.

Secondly, you can help mum and dad. You could wash the dishes, clean the table or take the dishes to the sink.

Lastly, you can get bored in bed. There’s nothing to watch in bed

You don’t fall asleep as easily because of the noise.

Don’t you think it is more boring in bed than staying up?

I hope you agree with me too.
