Western Region Cross Country Success
Last Friday students from Primary and Secondary competed at the combined Canberra Goulburn Cross Country event held in Stomlo.
In freezing conditions, the primary students kicked the frost off the track and in very different terrain to what they are used to, all students competed very well & demonstrated great resilience as they went around. We had some fantastic results across all age groups with Zephanie Lancaster and Annabelle Gray finishing first and second respectively in the 10 Y girls, Quinn Crawford finished second in the 9 Y girls, Nate Swanston was 7th in the 10 Y boys, Tristan Swanston 9th in the 9Y boys, Grace McCrone was 7th and Adelen Crawford 13th in the 11 Y girls. Amazing results and good luck to Zephanie, Annabelle and Quinn who will now compete at Eastern Creek Sydney on the 21st July.
The secondary was just as strongly contested, with competitors across the 13's and 14's age groups. Despite the toughest course Liam and Jarvey finished 2nd and 6th respectively and also earned their spot at the next event in Sydney.
Well done to all of our competitors for making it this far!
