It was exciting for students to finally be able to attend the Wednesday Parish Masses again. It was lovely to see Year 4 attend today.
Altar servers
We are in need of additional altar servers for weekend and school Masses. Any child who has made their First Eucharist in the Catholic Church is eligible to serve. A number of new students have started in recent months and we would like to introduce more. If your child is interested or would like to resume their training please email Mrs Collins or ask your child to collect an enrolment form from the office asap so that they can be included in the preparation sessions. It is a beautiful way to serve in the Church and a necessary job that requiores as much support as possible. Please email jacqueline.collins@cg.catholic.edu.au
Sacrament of Confirmation
Families should now have all of the information for the Sacrament of Confirmation. If you require a copy please contact Mrs Collins.
Stole making volunteers required
I am requesting any volunteers who are available to offer their time to help sew the stoles for this year’s Confirmation candidates. Please contact Mrs Collins via email if you are available at jacqueline.collins@cg.catholic.edu.au Thank you to those who have already volunteered to assist. Mrs Collins will be in touch shortly.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is Sunday 19th June at Sacred Heart Parish at 10am. Father Sijo will be celebrating the Mass this year, as the priests of the Diocese have all been granted permission by the Archbishop to celebrate the sacrament in their own parishes.
