Fundraiser for Catholic Missions Thursday 30th June
On the last school day of term, Thursday 30th June all students are asked to wear casual clothes to school and to please support the work of the Catholic Missions by bringing in a gold coin donation. Your support is much appreciated. The SRC will also be making cupcakes for all students from K-10 and distributing these to the classes.
Altar Servers
We are still in need of additional altar servers for weekend and school Masses. Please be in touch if your child has made their First Eucharist in the Catholic Church is eligible to serve. It is a beautiful way to serve in the Church and a necessary job that requires as much support as possible. Please email jacqueline.collins@cg.catholic.edu.au

St Anne's Athletics Carnival 2022
The St Anne’s Athletics Carnival went ahead Friday 10th June, despite threatening weather, and very cold conditions. The very high attendance rate of students was great to see and all students competed in the right spirit-well done to all students.
Once again Joes won with 1907 points, Johns were second on 1492, Pauls and third on 1258 and Pats fourth on 1230.
A number of records were also set at the carnival.

A squad of 35 Primary athletes has qualified for the Western Region Carnival in Cootamundra in Week 8: Judd Oliver, Grace, Lani, Ella McCrone, Billy Cassidy, Kayla, Marley Block, Joey Guymer, Barney Taylor, Ava Derrick, George Morton, Will Maxwell, Brodie, Annabelle Gray, Darcy Reardon, Elsie, Keith, Matthias, Zephanie Lancaster, Livvy Blackwell, Harry, Noah Swanston, Riley Gilchrist, Nate Swanston, Audrey Wallace, Kimberley Roberts, Macey Coddington, Claire Hartwig, Lana King, Jake Bett, Imogen Baldock, Mailee Reid, Archie and Oscar Block and Charles Minchin. Congratulations to the St Anne’s Western Region athletics squad. We won the whole carnival. Amazing! This is the first time we have won since 1993, and Young have held it for 13 years!!! Well done everyone. A true team of champions.

The NRL are pleased to announce they will be running a Holiday Clinic during the up-coming School Holidays! Holiday Clinics are non-contact and appeal to the true nature of kids in all their messy, high energy, love of fun and play. The program will be held on Thursday 14th of July, between 10am-1pm at Nixon Park, Temora.
Cost of the program is $49 per participant, with Holiday Clinic participants receiving a NRL pack. The Pack will be delivered to participant's address once they register. To register please click on the following link https://bit.ly/3biDtglTemoraHolidayClinic.
Mon 4th July- NAIDOC Walking tour around central Wagga Wagga and Wiradjuri cultural places. Learn Wiradjuri language, meet local animals, enjoy an easy walk along the ancient Murrumbidgee River with Wiradjuri man and tour guide Mark Saddler. Bus leaving Platform Y 8:40am and returning 2pm. Participants must have suitable footwear, warm clothing, a hat, sunscreen and bring a packed lunch. Ages 10-24.
Wed 6th July- NAIDOC Cooking Workshop with Hannah Cooper and Juatia Thrippleton. 10am-11:30am at Platform Y. Ages 8-24.
Mon 11th July- Cheese Making Demo and Tasting. 1pm-2:30pm at Platform Y. Ages 8+
Thurs 14th July- Theatre Fundamentals workshop. Ages 8-12 years, 1pm-5pm at Platform Y.
Fri 15th July- Theatre Fundamentals workshop. Ages 13-18 years, 9am-1pm at Platform Y.
All workshops are FREE.
Temora School Holiday Tennis Sessions - Monday 4th July and Thursday 7th July 2022. Bring a mate for $10 each. (Need a minimum of 6 players to run session).
