Dear St Anne's Community,
Term 4 is well underway, with the calendar for the rest of the term looking very busy. I would like to thank staff and students for the effort they are putting in to make this term a positive and productive one.
Principal's Conference
This week I attended a conference in Canberra with all of the Principals from across the Archdiocese. We heard from leading professionals on the Science of Learning and the Science of Reading. Our system has also received great praise for the Catalyst program we are implementing, that is based on the both of them and it is a credit to our teachers for their dedication to the broad goals of the system.
Garden Viewing
Thank you to the amazing Garden Viewing committee for their efforts in organising the event for this Sunday. If you are yet to put your name down for a job, please consider it. The money raised goes straight back to the students and it would be nice to see as many helpers as possible.
Semester Reports
Semester reports will go home via Compass on Thursday 15th December.
Important Dates
Friday 16th December- Last day of Term 4, 2022
Wednesday 1st February- First day of the 2023 school year
Congratulations
Congratulations to Grace McCrone on her outstanding achievements at the recent Athletics competition in Sydney. Grace will now progress to the National level competition to be held in QLD later this term.
As always, please do not hesitate to make contact with me if you have any questions or concerns.
Take care,
Grant Haigh

SHINE Conference Stage 5
My apologies for the confusion - it is FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM tomorrow for Year 9 and 10. Updated details regarding the Shine Conference in Canberra can be accessed via Compass. Please reply to give permission as soon as possible if your child was reminded again today about their attendance. It is a school event and attendance is expected. The bus will be leaving at 6:30am and students are asked to please meet at 6:15am. We expect to return by 5:50pm.
You are welcome to join us to celebrate All Saints Day Mass next Tuesday at 10:15am.

We continue to keep the children in our prayers as they prepare for this special Sacrament, to receive Jesus for the first time in this most precious way. Special thanks are also extended to Mrs Harris and Mrs Miller in their work to prepare the students.

Dear St Anne’s Teacher’s,
I sincerely appreciate your ongoing commitment to the students and community here at St Anne’s. Your dedication to the vocation of teaching does not go unnoticed, nor does the extra step you take to ensure that no student is left behind. We are lucky to have you all as part of our team.
Happy World Teachers’ Day!
Best wishes,
Grant
Stage 3 students made board games based on a picture book of their choice. Students in Stage 1 were invited to the library to have the picture book read to them and then play the board game. A good time was had by all.
