The sessions were aimed to develop leadership as well as individual skills. The first session looked at ways to introduce yourself and ways to make connections. We can see our students practicing the 'power pose'.
Session 2 introduced us to the 'ladder of success', how to
- Effect real change in school
- Build and maintain an effective team
- Focus on the outcome
Session 3 saw them create and record a small podcast in 'The END FM's' mobile recording studio.
Lastly The group participated in the mindfulness session. A perfect way to end the day.

School Uniform Update
We met with Anita from Lowes on Tuesday this week and expressed our concerns about the lack of uniform items available from Lowes. Anita assured us that shipments have just arrived and they have plenty of stock in the various items listed below. They are also fixing up their website to be clearly labelled.
Lowes can post items out to your address. Free postage on orders over $100.
We are extremely grateful to Millers here in town for supporting us during this transition period.
Primary
K-6 Girls and Boys Winter Uniform- Lowes currently have all winter items in stock. Available online and in store. The Sloppy Joe and lined wet weather jacket are available at Millers. We are currently in the process of transitioning the winter jumpers over to Lowes.
Secondary
7-10 Girls and Boys Winter Uniform- Lowes have all winter items in stock. These can be ordered online or in store. The Sloppy Joe and lined wet weather jacket are available at Millers. We are currently in the process of transitioning the winter jumpers over to Lowes.
Year 11 Girls and Boys Winter Uniform- You have received a second white short sleeved shirt. The long sleeve shirt will not arrive in Lowes store until mid-June. There is plenty of stock in store for winter girls skirts and boys pants. The knit jumper is available from Lowes and needs to replace the sloppy joe that students wear in K-10. No lined wet weather jackets are to be worn. When a student is cold, they must have the blazer on at all times and they can add the knit under the blazer.
K-12 Sports Uniform- The sports polo is not available from Lowes yet; orders can be placed through Millers in town. Sports shorts are available from Lowes online and in store. Sports tracksuit pants are available from Lowes.
We are phasing out the fleece zip jumper; however, this is a two year phase out period and students will still be able to wear them up until the end of 2024.
