Dear Parents/Carers,
This is the last school newsletter for the 2023 school year. Our school has seen significant growth and changes over a 12 month period. There are so many positive memories from this year and I can't thank the school community enough for making our school the place it is today. I look forward to addressing the school at the Presentation Day next week and reflecting on these positive aspects.
Events
The many end of year events we hold are fast approaching. Please check dates and times carefully, to avoid missing out.
Facilities
On Wednesday this week, I met with the CE Facilities and Architect team to discuss the ongoing development of our school master plan. This is not a quick process in any way. Once the master plan is completed, it can take years for the final product to be finished. I will continue to give you updates as the project evolves.
Staffing
We still have a vacancy for an English/HSIE teacher. If you are aware of anyone, please let them know to contact me for more information.
After an application and interview process, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Morton as our Student Wellbeing Officer for 2024-2027. Lisa will work two days per week, supporting our students across K-12.
I am also pleased to announce the appointment of Meaghan King and Hayley McRae as Permanent/Part-Time Classroom Support Assistants starting next year. This was filled through an application and interview process as well.
Belinda Maxwell will be finishing up in the canteen at the end of this year. I would like to thank Belinda for her work in the canteen and wish her all the best in her new endeavours. Therefore, we now have a vacancy as our School Canteen Manager. Follow this link for more information. Canteen Manager
