As our parish navigates rising insurance costs, we are asking if those who are able, might consider increasing their planned giving or if you are not a current planned giver, to consider becoming one. Insurance premiums have risen by $10,000 per annum and placed additional strain on our finances and any support to alleviate this burden would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity plays a crucial role in sustaining our parish and ensures we can continue serving our community. Please contact parish secretary, Virginia Bent on 0448 780746 if you would like to discuss planned giving options. Thank you for your consideration and ongoing support.
During term one, we sent home to you the four key pillars of The Resilience Project TRP, Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy GEM+EL. These were a series of short clips, information on each key pillar and some activities that can be done at home.
Thank you for participating in this Parent and Carer Digital Presentation series. This can be found on the TRP parent & carer hub, which can be accessed at any time.
https://theresilienceproject.com.au/2023-parent-carer-hub-inspire-hugh/
During the year you will see some TRP@Home ‘Take It Home Activity’ sheets, which will relate to the particular lessons your child has been working on. These are designed to equip parents & carers with some practical strategies/activities to use at home. Even some small simple practices that can be incorporated into a daily routine. TRP@Home is an important part of the program to help build that school/home connection which is an important part of our school’s effort to look after the mental health of our community.
A Message from our Canteen Manager
If your child is going to be away and you need to have a canteen order held over for the following week - Please remember this needs to be done before 9.30am.

Congratulations to Grace McCrone and Barney Taylor who were selected in the MacKillop netball and open primary rugby squads. We wish them all the best at NSWPSSA Championships.
Western Region Cross Country 2024
Western Region Cross Country 2024
Congratulations to the 32 cross country runners who competed at Batlow on 2nd May. In a first for St Anne’s, the school won the overall point score and the handicap school trophies, an incredible result for all athletes.
Thirteen runners will now travel to Mount Stromlo in Canberra to represent Western Region and trial for Canberra Goulburn selection. Well done to Bodhi Reardon, Phillipa Gibbs, Quinn Crawford, Belle Wilesmith, Ella McCrone, Joey Guymer, Clancy Gibbs, Zephanie Lancaster, Annabelle Gray, Michael Macauley, Barney Taylor, Grace McCrone and Stella Krause.
St Anne’s sent a girls and a boys team to the annual Paul Kelly Cup in Wagga last Friday 10th May.
The boys had a tough day coming up against St Micks Coolamon, TRAC and Henschke Primary and with only 10 players, all gave their best against much bigger opposition.
The girls fared better, improving dramatically with each game, winning one and losing the other 2 games by narrow margins.
Congratulations to all players, particularly students who don’t play AFL, and thanks to Mr Davidge for his help preparing the teams.
